Grace in Weakness

Take a moment to refresh, refocus, and refine your faith.

Lord, some days I can’t seem to function. It’s all I can do to stay awake. Sometimes it’s illness, other times there’s no clear reason for the struggle. Those are the days I’m reminded of how dependent I am on your love. I am more vulnerable to influences outside my power than I care to admit. But in my frailty, I’m comforted by your sovereignty. You meet my weakness with grace. You don’t value me based on my productivity, but on your perfection. Thank you for loving me in my feebleness. Amen.

Ephesians 2:8-9

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God–not by works, so that no one can boast.
