Great Physician, thank you for workers in the medical field who truly care about people. Thank you for those who show genuine compassion, concern, and respect for their patients. Use those people, Lord, to heal not only flesh, but minds and spirits as well. As they enter exam rooms, may they carry a palpable sense of your presence with them. Use them to change the professional cultures around them. Guide them in setting examples of how to provide excellent care for individuals as whole people, not just bodies. Keep them encouraged, supported, and passionate. Provide them the resources in and out of the workplace they need to lead healthy, fulfilling lives. Thank you for how you minister through them to reflect your love for us. Amen.
