Gracious Jesus, thank you for empowering me to be of comfort and service in your name to others. You entrust the care of precious hearts to me each time I cross paths and interact with people. Each moment is an opportunity to represent you. I don’t usually know what is happening in individuals’ lives, what they’re struggling with, or the challenges looming on their horizons, but you do. You send me in the power of your Spirit as an agent of kindness and compassion. Thank you for the privilege of this calling. May I be intentional and dedicated in living up to it. Amen.
