Take a moment to refresh, refocus, and refine your faith.
Lord Creator, thank you for the sunshine after so much gloom and grayness. Even though we’re still in the grip of winter’s chill, signs of spring are emerging all around us. As the icicles drip into puddles, snowdrops and crocuses peek their first tender shoots above the earth. The days grow longer and the cold, bitter nights shorter. It lifts the spirit and reinvigorates the body. Thank you, Lord, for reminding us through the change of seasons that no matter how bleak circumstances may seem, there is always hope and new life around the corner. May we carry that message with us and share it with others wherever we may go. Amen.
Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime;
it is the Lord who sends the thunderstorms.
He gives showers of rain to all people,
and plants of the field to everyone.
