Nurturing Father, thank you for soothing my heart with peace so that I can rest without fear, worry, or anxiety. Thank you for building rest into the pattern of life so that I have regular opportunities to trust you with all my affairs and concerns. Help me worship you by accepting the gift of rest when I am prone to overtax myself or be controlling of things I should leave in your loving hands. Amen.
