Gentle Shepherd, thank you for holding me near your heart, nestled in the tender strength of your arms. You feel what I feel and know my every ailment and how to treat it. You desire my peace as well as my welfare. Thank you for protecting me and seeing to all my needs even before I recognize them. Thank you for your constant goodness toward me though I am powerless to ever repay it. Amen.
