Back to Baby Steps

Writer: Megan L. AndersonMegan L. Anderson

Take a moment to refresh, refocus, and refine your faith.

Father, thank you for the grace and mercy of baby steps. I sometimes find myself in seasons of stagnation, struggling to maintain spiritual disciplines in a heartfelt, genuine way. Regaining momentum in my passion for you when the Enemy does everything imaginable to discourage it can feel like an exercise in futility. But your grace is sufficient. You celebrate and reward even my most trivial victories and encourage me onwards. Thank you, Lord, for your compassion and understanding. Thank you for loving me through times when I fail to love you. I move forward with the precious gift of hope for restored intimacy with you. Amen.

Jeremiah 31:3

The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying:

“I have loved you with an everlasting love;

I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.
