Father, today I ask a special blessing on students, faculty, and staff on all levels of education. Fill each classroom with your Holy Spirit. Make campus a safe place where everyone is seen, heard, and supported. Please keep illness at bay and help those struggling with new procedures and policies to adapt. Lord, uplift the teachers as they deal with the complications of COVID-19 on top of the usual strains that come with their positions. Ignite passion for learning in the students that they would excel. Build community against the pull of the divisive rhetoric plaguing our nation. Lord, I ask that you exceed our expectations for how well the 2020 school years can go, and may we give you every word of praise you deserve along the way. Amen.
