Dust Me Off
Take a moment to refresh, refocus, and refine your faith.
Perfect Lord God, somehow your compassion for fallen humanity is not outweighed by your holiness. You look upon us knowing full well how fallible, frail, and wicked we can be. Though you owe us nothing, you stretch your hand of mercy to lift us up when we inevitably stumble and crash under the burden of our sin-marred nature. Thank you for not abandoning us to our own devices. Thank you for bending close to us, dusting us off, and setting us back on the path toward your best for us. Amen.
Though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the LORD upholds his hand.
For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body.
