Hope Within Injustice

Take a moment to refresh, refocus, and refine your faith.

Wise Father, Joseph was a prisoner for at least two years, keenly feeling the injustice of his circumstances with each day’s responsibilities, but you made that time productive and used it to prepare him to steward the power, riches, and honor you destined him for. I too sometimes feel trapped in my circumstances, confined and repressed by unjust systems. Don’t let me waste this season, Lord. Favor me as you did Joseph and help me make the most of the opportunities in my lap right now with hope for the bright future ahead. Amen.

Genesis 41:39-41

Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has shown you all this, there is none so discerning and wise as you are. You shall be over my house, and all my people shall order themselves as you command. Only as regards the throne will I be greater than you.” And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.”
