Take a moment to refresh, refocus, and refine your faith.
Lord, I pray that you would build a new intimacy between the members of the Body of Christ. We so often take for granted the presence of our usual faith communities, but how often do we enter into one another’s daily experience on a personal level? If we only come together in deeply meaningful ways in times of great need, then we have more or less missed the point of Church. Knit us together into the inseparable unit you designed us to be. Help us move through life as one and experience the nearness of Christ through deep relationships. Amen.
1 Corinthians 12:12-14
Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by[a] one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many.
