Knit Us Together

Writer's picture: Megan L. AndersonMegan L. Anderson

Take a moment to refresh, refocus, and refine your faith.

Holy Spirit, I ask that you would knit the members of your Church into a bond of unity. Tear out knots of pettiness, resentment, bitterness, and gossip. Thread us together in a spirit of patience, gratitude, understanding, forgiveness, and humility. Help us communicate with one another, especially about conflict, with Jesus’ exemplified balance of truth and grace. Remind us of our shared goals and how we are meant to be as one. Help us gain perspective on the bigger picture of our calling that we would work together with fresh zeal for your glory and one another’s edification. Amen.

Philippians 4:2-3

I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. Yes, and I ask you, my true companion, help these women since they have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers, whose names are in the book of life.
