Take a moment to refresh, refocus, and refine your faith.

Holy and Loving Savior, how often do I as an individual and we as a church allow fear to impede reaching out to make others welcome? How can I/we be more open, outsider-focused, and accepting? What step should I/we take next to be more intentional and sensitive to people’s wounds in relation to faith and structured religion? Reveal and convict me/us of these blindspots and willfully missed opportunities. Guide me/us forward in active faith, empowered by your compassion and love. Amen.
1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
