Patient on Purpose

Take a moment to refresh, refocus, and refine your faith.

Lord, sometimes I wonder if my life is where it’s meant to be right now. Should I have done more? Made different choices? Followed a more traditional path? I see peers accomplishing things I haven’t and am tempted into feeling less-than. But you remind me that comparison is a thief of joy. You love me right where I am for who I am in this moment, and you are using me uniquely in my circumstances as you are those I envy. I can rejoice in the life you’ve given me and adventure into the next exciting stages ahead. Thank you for reminding me of my purpose and value. Amen.

Proverbs 19:21

Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.
