Refocusing Anxieties

Take a moment to refresh, refocus, and refine your faith.

Father God, I pray for all of us who grapple with anxieties, worries, and fears. Reframe our disoriented thinking that we would recognize your presence over the concern. Instead of bleakness, help us see opportunity. Instead of lack, focus us on your provision. Don’t let us catastrophize or whip ourselves into an inner frenzy over hypotheticals. You have provided. You are always providing. You will continue to provide. Thank you, God, for compassionately embracing us despite our weak faith in your sovereignty and love. Remind us of all you’ve done for us in the past that we would channel our energy into praise. Thank you for seeing everything that lies in our path and preparing for our future. Thank you for the faithfulness we don’t deserve. Help us reciprocate it back to you. Amen.

Isaiah 46:8-11

“Remember this, keep it in mind, take it to heart, you rebels. Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’ From the east I summon a bird of prey; from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that I will bring about; what I have planned, that I will do.
