Good Father, help me stop trying to experience life through means apart from you. Whether it’s through relationships with others, travel, service, hobbies, entertainment, etc. – everything apart from communing with you is just a distraction or weak attempt at filling the void only you can fill. Show me how these things pale in comparison to devoted time with you. Overwhelm me with the joy, peace, and vibrancy of your presence that I would not settle for anything less than you again. Amen.
