Take a moment to refresh, refocus, and refine your faith.

Patient Father, how can you be so understanding and supportive when I fail you on a fundamental level each and every day? I let my physical cravings and proclivities eclipse my drive to serve you with all my strength. I let my mind wander to and dwell on subjects that don’t glorify you. I idolize myself and my earthly interests instead of bowing to your throne and practicing the disciplines that make an effective agent of your kingdom. Yet you remain loving and faithful with your hand ever extended to strengthen me in the pursuit of righteousness. Thank you, God, for your unfailing love and being the unshakeable foundation for my life. Help me remember the eternal value of knowing and living for you over the temporary pleasures of this world. Amen.

Psalms 73:26

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
