Walking Worthy

Take a moment to refresh, refocus, and refine your faith.

Father, thank you for raising a host of people who continue uplifting me in prayer, teaching me, challenging, encouraging, and walking with me. I ask that you make your will clear to my heart, filling me with spiritual wisdom and understanding. Help me walk worthy of your calling on my life that I would fulfill my God-given purpose. Cultivate my life so it produces fruit that produces fruit for generations. Lord, you have imbued me with your Holy Spirit’s power; don’t let me take that for granted. Train me in your ways that I will endure all hardship to come with patience, joy, and gratitude. You are making me new. You have blessed with me adoption into your family and authority in your holy kingdom. Thank you, Father God, for your great generosity. Hold me accountable as I aspire to live in a manner worthy of your love. Amen.

Colossians 1:9-14

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the LORD and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
