A Passionate People

Take a moment to refresh, refocus, and refine your faith.

Christ Emmanuel, thank you for descending the splendor of Heaven for a dirty manger bed, for laying aside your golden crown for a crown of thorns. You forsook ultimate power for humiliation on our behalf out of pure love. How can we understand such passionate devotion? Lord, as we move into a new year, may we be passionate people living and serving in gratitude for the many sacrifices you made for us. Help us remember the gravity of your presence among us that first Christmas and every day since through your Holy Spirit. Amen.

John 1:14

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
