A Sleepy Child

Take a moment to refresh, refocus, and refine your faith.

Lord, There’s not much performance power in me today. My eyelids feel like weighted curtains ready to fall on the stage of my lethargy. But as my thoughts float from one unfinished idea to the next, I have a sweet sense of your grace. You love me not for what I do for you, but simply because I am your child. You created me in your image; even when I fail to live up to my full potential, you delight in me. Thank you for your unfailing love, mercy, and grace. Amen.

Mark 10:16

And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.
