Take a moment to refresh, refocus, and refine your faith.
Jesus, you lived your life on earth holding grace and truth in perfect balance. As I interact with people I do not agree with, help me stand by your truth in such a way that leaves the other feeling respected. As I speak your sometimes difficult truths, may my delivery be loving and wise that I would not misrepresent your heart. Lead me in avoiding becoming overly defensive or offensive. Humble me as I practice listening carefully to others and responding only with the words and in the manner you give me. Humble me also to accept correction. May those my biblical convictions clash with come away from our discussion with a right impression of who you are. Amen.
