Holiness Fatigue

Take a moment to refresh, refocus, and refine your faith.

Kind Savior, as we watch the world continue devolving into chaos, hatred, and greed, there is a temptation toward apathy. What’s the point of pursuing righteousness or fighting against ceaseless tides of evil when only your return will quell them for good? When the only way to get by let alone get ahead is compromising morality, sometimes it feels as if there is no choice. Help us not grow weary of enacting the highest good, of exercising your character and will in all we do. Afford us encouraging glimpses of the impact you have through our decisions to follow after your example. Revive our delight in your commands and precepts that we would live each moment in expectant praise. Amen.

Galatians 6:9-10

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
