Our Afflicted Brethren

Take a moment to refresh, refocus, and refine your faith.

Father, today I am reminded of my brothers and sisters across the globe. So many battles are raging against your Kingdom. Different governments, crises, natural disasters, and economic downturns are taking their toll. I ask that you band your people together with renewed faith. Give us eyes to see the struggles of our brethren, compassionate hearts, resources to share, and wisdom to act according to your will. As darkness encroaches, may we as vessels of your holy light shine out the brighter as beacons of hope and active love.

1 Timothy 2:1-2

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.
