Take a moment to refresh, refocus, and refine your faith.

Great Father, thank you for the troubles I face in this world as they present opportunities for relying more on you. Culture has ingrained the notion of “common sense” in me, but your divine wisdom defies and transcends this earthly guidance. Help me practice looking to you for your direction instead of automatically falling back on my habits and worldly instincts. Foster in me an ever-growing desire to seek your will in all things and follow through with active obedience. When difficulties present themselves, may I praise you, Holy Spirit, for your intimate presence. With the hope of Heaven, I can face anything with a peaceful heart. May I not take these priceless gifts for granted. Amen.

John 16:33

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
