Father Creator, the messages we receive from those around us and society at large flood us with such volume that hearing your still, small voice can seem like searching for a whisper in a tornado. This noise constantly telling us who we are and what we aren’t, pushing agendas and products on us to mold us more into the world’s image is not what you want for us. Help us home in on the true, reliable voice of your Spirit and found our identities not on what we have or can do, but on the majesty of who you are. Free us from the voices of worldly expectations that we would live joyfully liberated and secure in you. Thank you for the honor of creating us in your image. Help us continually seek your character and in you find ourselves. Amen.
